relatively uncomplicated soft tissue injuries to the neck and back. These
are injuries which are assessed and treated by general practitioners, chiropractors
and physiotherapists everyday in their own practices.
The March 1, 2006 amendments to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule – Accidents
On or After November 1, 1996, have introduced changes that make it advantageous
to match the section 42 assessor with the type of health professional who
was the claimant’s “original provider.”
